The agent of Arsenal star Lucas Torreira has once again admitted that his client wishes to secure a return to Serie A amid links with AC Milan.
The Rossoneri were persistently linked with a move for the Uruguay international both last summer and in the recent January window but their pursuit has so far been unsuccessful.
Il Corriere dello Sport reported last month that Torreira has used his agent to send signals to Milan regarding his openness to return to Italy and join the Rossoneri, who are ready to go back in again this summer.
Now, Pablo Bentancur has spoken to the TMW network about his client’s future and once again expressed openness regarding a return to Italy.
“Lucas had been in a bit of a bad mood over some technical differences, then he recovered. And the injury arrived, fortunately less serious than expected. Today he is completely recovered, I believe he will be a market man,” Bentancur said.
“I will have to speak to Arsenal. The player would love to return to Italy, but it must be acknowledged that Arsenal treated him very well and behaved great.”
