Agent of RB Leipzig star attends Man Utd vs. Arsenal after Milan meeting – photo

By Oliver Fisher -

Benjamin Sesko’s agent was in attendance at Old Trafford for Manchester United’s game against Arsenal yesterday, further fuelling rumours of a summer move amid links with AC Milan.

Sesko’s agent Elvis Basanovic visited Milano in recent days and he had a meeting with Milan to discuss the striker as per multiple reports, even if it will be a difficult negotiation due to the costs involved.

He seems to be on a tour of sorts, because it has also been revealed that he went to watch the Premier League clash between United and Arsenal in Manchester yesterday. Sesko has been linked with moves to both clubs in recent weeks.

  1. His release clause also increased to 65 million € due to performance. Now it is open transfer market. Crappy Arsenal entered to the race (again as they did for Zirkzee)

  2. Well this is not surprising considering his agents were in Milan BUT didn’t meet with us LOL. We all know where Sesko will end up and that unfortunately is not with us due to our cheap ownership

Be prepared to see Guirassy leading the line

    1. I don’t like many things about ownership, but I’m fully invested in not being taken for a fool by some overpriced players and their clubs and/or agents. If his agent wants a bidding war between us and PL clubs, there’s no shame to skip the player. It would be like Lecce and us bidding for the same player, our salaries would be way higher than what Lecce could afford.

I have no issue if the majority of the funds are used to strengthen the team in other areas, if we have a stronger midfield and defense, all the other scoring players (Leao, Pulisic, RLC, Okafor, Jovic) would get more goals and even a less skilled striker would get more chances to score.

Getting a new Tonali or Kessie would be as beneficial as having a strong striker. Getting someone that can score free kicks, or that can shoot accurately from long range , or a defender that can win headers both offensively and defensively (e.g. someone like Godin), are all things to consider.

Giroud was good but I don’t see him as the focal point of our team, rather as a position that we can improve if costs are within range.
