The agent of Luis Sinisterra has admitted that he would have liked to have seen the winger join AC Milan or AS Roma during the sumer window.
Sinisterra’s agent Simone Rondanini spoke about his client during an interview with Sportitalia in which he gave some background on the negotiations that took place over the summer, with his comments relayed by Radio Rossonera.
Who will win the scudetto this year?
“Difficult question. Even though I am Italian, I am forced to follow various leagues so I have not yet been able to see all the Serie A teams live.
“I think it will always be played between the usual big teams, with Inter, Milan, Napoli and Juventus among the favourites. However, I don’t discard surprises, Fiorentina and Roma have very good potential. If I have to focus on one, I say Inter.”
What was the best deal on the market, and what was the one that could have been done but didn’t materialise?
“If we talk about the Italian market I would say that Lukaku at Roma was a great coup, great management done by the club. As for an unrealised deal, I don’t know, because there have been many movements, even if we don’t really know for which there were real possibilities. Of my clients, I would have liked to see Sinisterra at Milan or Roma.”
Sinisterra only moved to Leeds from Feyenoord in the summer of 2022 and the 23-year-old gained some attention for his performances with the Yorkshire side after suffering some initial injury problems following his arrival from the Netherlands.
The well-known Milan journalist Carlo Pellegatti spoke on his YouTube channel last year and provided a glowing endorsement for Sinisterra, who chief scout Geoffrey Moncada knows and likes, suggesting Milan are a possible destination.
In the end Milan signed Christian Pulisic, Samuel Chukwueze and Luka Romero for the flanks, but any interest could of course resurfance. Sinisterra is on an initial loan at Bournemouth from Leeds.
