Agent urges Milan to sign Real Madrid trequartista: “He was worth €100m”

By Oliver Fisher -

Agent Claudio Pasqualin has encouraged AC Milan to try and sign Isco from Real Madrid given how his valuation has reportedly decreased.

The well-known agent Pasqualin spoke exclusively to the microphones of Tuttosport and was asked about which attacking midfielder the Rossoneri should sign to replace Hakan Calhanoglu, who left on a free transfer for Inter.

“Isco. The Spaniard has a technical caliber from Milan, unlike some profiles that come close to the Rossoneri. In addition, it is quite clear that he will not start in Real Madrid, which means that his price tag is affordable, around 20 million. Only a few years ago he was worth 100 million. I would orient myself on Isco,” he said (via PianetaMilan).

Interestingly, Spanish source ABC reported yesterday that Isco will not renew his deal with Real Madrid which is all set to expire in June 2022, as he wants to play for another team where he has guaranteed playing time.

They added that €20m is his valuation but the main hurdle is the €7m net per season (€13m gross) that the 29-year-old earns. Despite this, Arsenal and other Premier clubs are interested while the report also mentioned that Milan are keen on signing the four-time Champions League winner.

  1. The problem is he *was* worth 100 million… we are not playing in the past… 20 mil plus 13 mill (annual gross salary) amounts to a big investment in a player who currently looks rather a gamble. There are more attractive (and younger) targets on the market. In addition, you just simply cannot pay Kessie 6 mil and Isco 7.
