‘Betrays the values’ – AIMC announce continuation of protests after being ‘repressed’ – photo

Whilst things are seemingly getting better on the pitch for AC Milan, the Rossoneri are struggling to make things better off of it, and fans are getting heavily frustrated.

Since Sergio Conceicao’s arrival, the general consensus around Milan has been more positive. Results are showing, and whilst there have been bumps, it seems like things are gradually improving. It is by no means a finished path though.

Off the pitch, the same cannot be said. Recently, the AIMC have held protests against the management, and today, they have announced that the protests will not stop any time soon.

The statement has been relayed in full by Milan News and reads as follows:

“WE are not mere spectators, but the beating soul of this team, an irreplaceable component of its history and its present.

“We are the ones who travel 1000 kilometres, face personal and financial sacrifices to be in the stands at the San Siro, travelling all over Italy and beyond (LEVERKUSEN, MADRID, BRATISLAVA).

“We have followed MILAN EVERYWHERE to support the colours we love and which represent our passion and identity.

“The club’s recent decisions, aimed at repressing organised and A.I.M.C. (the heart of all Milan Clubs) supporters, accompanied by the increase in ticket prices, show a lack of interest in those who have always supported this team.

“The decision to privilege an audience of tourists, transforming the stadium into a mere attraction, betrays the values of belonging and identity that Milan has represented for millions of fans in Italy and around the world.

“San Siro is not a theatre, and WE are not silent spectators. The organised fans are the engine that fuels the unique atmosphere of the matches, the drive that has made Milan a symbol, on and off the pitch.

“Reducing everything to an economic issue means distorting football and alienating those who live this passion with their hearts.

“We ask the club to go back to respecting and valuing the fans who, with sacrifice and love, continue to support MILAN everywhere and to review the policies that threaten to drive the Rossoneri away from their home.

“There is no distance that can stop us, there is no sacrifice that scares us. But we demand respect for those who live this passion with heart and soul. MILAN IS US.”

  1. American dog owner‘s doesnt understand what Ac Milan is about, what passion is! They try to milk us like a Cow, we need to stop going to the stadium and leave them with 1000 tourist‘s then they will understand our value.

  2. So we price out Italian fans and freeze out Italian players, managers, and directors.

Someone needs to sue Milan for misleading conduct.

You can’t sell a product and misrepresent that it’s made in Italy,

    1. We also work with the police to arrest their members who have links with the mafia and its just a coincidence protests started shortly after that right?

Bet you now gonna claim they are actually innocent and the mafia are good people lmao

      1. Read my comment.

“We price out Italian fans” was a reference to the increase in ticket prices (to watch the 8th placed team) not me declaring my support for the mafia.

          1. So you claim it’s the Milan owner’s who is helping police for the arrest of AIMC leaders
Whereas Jerry don’t give a fcuk about anyone from Italy.

See yourself how contrast it is from your logic 🤣🤣🤣🤣

        1. Strawman, hindsight etc. terms they use when they’re left without proper counter argument and lack capacity for an actual debate.

  3. Kalau SI AMERIKA MASIH BERKUASA,MILAN TIDAK AKAN MAMPU MEMBELI PEMAIN SEPERTI GIMENEZ. SUDAH PASTI BELI PEMAIN YANG KELAS 2.

  4. It’s what greaseball Gerry already told will happen. I quote:

“And I am still trying to deal with the mismatch between building an American-style stadium, which will probably cost over €1 billion, and not being able to charge American-style prices. It is a real challenge.”

He doesn’t really care about the fans, he’s here to squeeze every penny out of their pockets. If they cannot afford it, fine who wants middle and low class fans at stadium who will not spend money on their famous American hotdogs and similar overpriced garbage.
