‘Give the team back its dignity’ – AIMC criticise Milan’s ‘ownership, club and team’

There is once again a climate of protest surrounding AC Milan at present, and the AIMC have published a statement.

After the Curva Sud protested in front of Casa Milan and Milanello on Friday, while putting out a statement criticising the ownership and management, the Italian Milan Club Association (AIMC) joined in with their own post.

Specifically, the association’s message is directed to all of Milan, from the ownership down to the management but also the squad and the head coach. They published a statement on their Instagram, translated below.

“Don’t ask why, there’s little to explain: game over! Ownership, club and team have turned off our beloved colours and today the stadium will be proof of that… The reason is obvious and known to all, give the team back its dignity and give us back our red and black pride!”

The displeasure is certainly understandable given what has been a very negative season so far barring the Supercoppa Italiana win, and now the team must respond on the field.

  1. Yeah this season is over. I can see we got slip into 10th or 12th and got our ass kicked in the Coppa.

All thanks to the hardwork from RedTurd Gerry and his clowns in the management. Bravo 👏👏

  2. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Well said worryingly however is the fact Elliot / Redbird have all ready tried to take away that Red and Black and brain wash individuals to buying colours which In no way shape or form have anything to do with Milan.

    #Get Elliot / Redbird out.

  3. Cue: long balls punted into oblivion, no movement, zero passion, multiple howlers… all topped off by a refereeing mistake that decides it for Lazio in the 89th minute. Good times, boys, good times……

  4. These are the guys who need to reset their expectations the most. The threat to only sing when we’re winning and to chastise everyone when we’re not has been detrimental for ages and a big part of the decision to keep swapping managers.

News for you guys, Inter were also owned by a Chinese guy who racked up debt and are now owned by an American fund. Liverpool and Arsenal are owned by American funds.

    1. If you actually pay attention to what the fans here are asking for, it has nothing to do with spending more money.

The fans are asking for a competent leadership with a project and a direction where all the branches work together in synergy.

Wonder who the real idiot here is, speaking about something he doesn’t understand, Dorogoy.

  5. Everyone saying we have to spend like drunken sailors don’t get the picture and all the masterstrokes this ownership took to get us here. Extending Kessie, keeping Tonali, purchasing a decent central backup midfielder and a good striker, with an attacking right winger was very plausible without their idiotic hardline policies.

They spent more dismantling a winning squad to avoid paying a bit more in wages than their algorithms suggested. That has and will always be my gripe. We never needed a complete overhaul or massive investment. Incremental additions while keeping the team together was doable with reasonable expenditures. They completely failed.

They could have added Pulisic and Fofana to our previous squad, with a striker to repalce Ibra/Giroud in 3 summers. We would be celebrating winning trophies had they did their part to allow Maldini a higher wage budget. We would have generated the additional income to cover those costs. They preferred profit, ego, computer programs over ambition, knowhow and performance on the field.

    1. But that’s indeed the thing Maldini wanted to do. Just a few top player additions to the current squad.
Data and staff can be used for scouting, but should never be the leading factor.
