Video: Albertini urges Milan to sign Ibrahimovic – “He would serve them well”

By Oliver Fisher -

Former AC Milan star Demetrio Albertini believes that the Rossoneri would benefit from the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Tuesday’s edition of il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews.it) claimed that there are three alternatives in Maldini and Boban’s notebook, two of whom are currently at Real Madrid, with the potential signing of Ibrahimovic moving further away due to a distance between offer and demand.

Albertini spoke to reporters on the sidelines of Tuesday’s ‘Legends of Style’ event in which Barcelona and Milan celebrated their 120th birthdays together.

“An experienced player like Ibra would serve them well, obviously depending how he is at the physical level,” he said (via MilanNews.it).

“Just look at what Bonaventura did when he came back. He has brought points and tranquility. A mix between experienced and talented players is needed to achieve successes.

“Figures? I am not the manager, I also read the figures. This would no longer be a technical assessment but a budget, and external it should not be done.”
