AC Milan triumphed in the derby against Inter thanks to a goal in the first half from Pervis Estupiñan, making it a league double over the city rivals.
Estupinan fired into the top corner from inside the box after a lovely through ball by Youssouf Fofana to give Milan the lead on the night. That would be the only goal in the match, as the Rossoneri cut the gap to seven points.
Corto muso
Inter had more possession, Expected Goals, big chances, total shots and corners, but failed to turn any of it into a goal. It is a familiar story for an Allegri team in a big game: bend don’t break at the back, and take a moment at the other end.
