AC Milan will face Atalanta for the 150th time in a competitive fixture when they welcome them to San Siro on Sunday night.
There has been a pretty clear advantage for Milan in the head-to-heads over the years with 69 wins, 49 draws and 31 defeats. Having said that, the Rossoneri actually haven’t beaten Atalanta since February 2023, a 2-0 win in the post-Scudetto season.

Things were looking good in the reverse fixture when Milan took the lead early on through Samuele Ricci’s deflected shot, but Ademola Lookman equalised and it remains 1-1. The most recent meeting at San Siro saw Atalanta prevail 1-0 thanks to the goal from Ederson.
Milan must buck the recent trend both against La Dea but also in terms of their own league form, having won two of their last seven in Serie A. The magnitude of the game cannot be overstated, with a top four spot now under threat.
