The one thing Arokadare got going for him is his ability to shield the ball and pass it to teammates (and incidentally poach an ugly goal).

200% correct. It´s Vlahovic at 6 mil wage or no Vlahovic. And this team will do perfectly fine with any strong forward that can keep up the ball. It´s not as if we´re helpless without Vlahovic. Not even after this weekend.

I can understand how him “performing” will strengthen Juve’s case as well as that of the player. So it is not far fetched for Juve to stick to their evaluation or alternatively for the player to demand a deal on his terms. He should not be playing, worse yet score…for us to gain the upper hand in this deal…Unless Juve really wanna push him out of the door with these cameo roles where he scores and become attractive. Let’s face it, there are not many good quality deals available for Allegri out there…remember these are negotiations so you hope that the position of the owning team and player does not strengthen…
He was never a realistic target to begin with. Our ridiculous management will never spend big on one player. Besides, his salary will lead to some other players (Mike, Rafa, Puli), requiring a pay rise which will freak Gerry out. He is only in the headlines, because Allegri worked with him and probably DOES want him, but that’s not something Furlani & co. care about.

Simply put, toxic or not, Dusan is the best we can get! And we are desperate, because another Gomez like signing and we are defintly out of europe again. Even with Dusan top 4 might be very hard to get.
Tito you are absolutely right. Everyone is acting like there is a line filled with 15-20 goals a season strikers available and are just waiting for Milan to call.
