AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has been selected as one of the Olympic Torchbearers for the upcoming Winter Olympics, which will be held in Milano.
The Olympics taking place in the next months have been a big discussion point where Milan are involved. The opening ceremony taking place at San Siro, it meant there was a high chance of the Como game being played in Australia.

However, after months of back and forth over the decision, the Rossoneri will actually just play the game at San Siro, just at a different date than originally scheduled, it seems.
Allegri chosen
Now, there is another big piece of Rossoneri relevance to the Winter Olympics, as the club confirmed on their X that Allegri had been selected as one of the torchbearers before the event kicks off. A fitting honour that he is chosen for this on his return to the Diavolo.

Very deserving. He is a very smart manager and this honor just adds to his resume
With all the delays, it will be a miracle if this event takes place at all.
With our luck on National Team activities, he’ll burn his eyebrows on the torch😀
