MN: Allegri dreams as Vlahovic’s ‘destiny’ opens amid Milan links

The links to Dusan Vlahovic are only getting more prevalent, especially due to AC Milan wanting a striker.

This summer will probably be built around a striker arriving, especially with several names and profiles linked. For example, a returning name but new profile arrived in the fold last night, by way of Darwin Nunez.

Put simply, though, he is not the first choice. In fact, it is rather obvious who is.

Allegri’s dream

As Milan News write this morning, Massimiliano Allegri is dreaming of adding Vlahovic to his Milan squad. Talks between the two have already begun, it seems, and with Gimenez not fully up to scratch, there is an opening for a striker.

This arrives at the perfect time, really. Looking at the Serbian’s situation, a move away from Juventus seems more than likely now, with it almost seeming like ‘destiny’ for them to split. So, the Rossoneri sit waiting at the door.

On the mercato, his price should be very feasible, with €25 million the figure imagined to close a deal. However, it is his requests which might create issues. As of now, the striker is on €12m per season in Turin, which the Diavolo could not and would not replicate.

Instead, a deal offering that amount over a few years could be preferred. A difficult operation indeed, but not an impossible one.
