Recently, there has been a lot of talk about a striker arriving at AC Milan, but there is another question that must be answered before asking who it will be.
The mercato is a chance to improve the squad, but it is only the case when there is a strategy already in place. Unfortunately for Milan, it seems that there is still some confusion over the future, with the Rossoneri stuck between two ideas.
Indeed, throughout this year, the question of the 4-3-3 and the 3-5-2 has been non-stop, and an answer needs to be found.
Working it out
It is important to state that a new striker could always play in a front two or a front three, though some work better in different systems than others. However, the level of investment also depends.
Ultimately, if Massimiliano Allegri persists with two up front, there are then four ‘others’ to choose between. So, sales will have to be made. If it is a front three, the considerations get much wider, as there are more positions to consider.
As Tuttosport writes, via MilanPress, this is the question that Allegri must answer soon, as a lack of clarity this summer could have a devastating effect on the potential for progress. Questions are already being asked about Christopher Nkunku and Santiago Gimenez’s futures.
With an answer about the future formation, perhaps their futures will become clearer, too. Either way, though, clarity is needed about the system before a big investment is made.

Put the Chelsea bench warmer on the bench !!!! We are done watching his dumb ass run around the field not doing nothing but intentionally not giving assists when he should have!!!!! Start Leao and Nkunko and put that pulisic on the bench!!! I hope next year we sell him and get Federico Cheisa
