This morning, AC Milan held an open training session at Milanello to allow fans to show their support in Milano, given their restrictions in Naples.
Monday’s restrictions have been discussed heavily and in a game of such a magnitude, it is slightly harsh that Milan will not be able to match the support. However, it is an unfortunate part of the game. For Massimiliano Allegri, it will make little difference to his preparation.

To replace them being present on Monday, then, the fans turned up to Milanello in their numbers and there is an important message to take from it.
Allegri’s impact shown
As Gazzetta dello Sport writes, there were four thousand people at the training ground today, maybe even more. Shirts with Rui Costa and Rafael Leao, Paolo Maldini and Luka Modric, scarves, flags, drums.
The Rossoneri spirit personified and shown to the team in a clear display of support. In many ways, it was similar to the Raduno and the players were clearly taken back by it.
This is where we must look back, though. It was a scene reminiscent of the 1990s, perhaps even from Stefano Pioli’s Scudetto winning season. What it was not like was the 2024 and 2025 radunos, where fans were absent, to send a message.
Allegri’s impact, if it wasn’t already, is tangible. He has reunited the club and the recent interest from the FIGC must be backhanded by the club.
