Massimiliano Allegri got the ‘Mad Max’ nickname for a reason, and he showed it in the closing stages of AC Milan’s win over Bologna.
Towards the end of the 1-0 victory at San Siro, Christopher Nkunku drew a penalty kick after being fouled inside the box. However, the referee was called over to review it and he eventually overturned it, believing the forward had dived.

Allegri, to put it simply, did not agree with the call. He took his jacket off during a verbal tirade against the officials, and he was sent off as well for his reaction. It is very similar to what got him a ban after the Coppa Italia final in 2024 with Juventus.

Criminal not to give the penalty. He was fouled perhaps as many as three times. And the fact that the penalty was given and overturned for a clear and obvious error is farcical. I can understand Allegri’s rage. Hope the ref doesn’t get to referee another in Serie A.

serie A refs are the worst losers on the planet… they are sooooooooo bad. Not sure on what planet, or league, where pushing a player over from the back in the penalty area is not a penalty other than in Serie A. The boomers in charge of calcio are killing it and it has gone from being the top league to a joke league.

Allegri had a point. In the first half there was the argument for a red card on a foul on rabiot, where he was clear on goal. Perhaps Freuler didn’t comit a foul on Nkunku, butt by then he was already fouled and out of balance. Nice work of thé referee. Is Juventus bribing again 🤔

Not really. There was 1, clear penalty, the thing after was not a foul. Not even close.
Well that obviously wasn’t a penalty because Nkunku moved his leg when he got caught not the defender. So it was considered tripping himself on a leg that was already there. But before that Lucumi pushed him from the back with his hand while kicking him in the knee. That is 100% penalty.
I’ve never seen Allegri acting this way… 🙄
