Massimiliano Allegri seems determined to continue using Rafael Leao in a more advanced role, according to a report.
As MilanNews writes, the three-man defence wasn’t the only tactical innovation Allegri introduced to Milanello. The two-striker attack with a midfield filled by a five-man line is another, and he appears ready to stick with it.

Among those directly concerned is Leao, because there is no left winger in the system that the coach is proposing. However, it will be more of a ‘evolution than a revolution’ for the Portuguese.
Allegri’s move
Allegri has in fact begun working with the former Lille star with one goal in mind: to transform him from a winger to a penalty-area centre-forward, something that seems to be within the reach of the Milan No.10 after his 17-minute display against Bari.
