After AC Milan’s defeat against Cremonese, a meeting took place this morning between Massimiliano Allegri and the management.
The loss against the newly promoted side is not a worry in itself; it happens. However, Milan did not look like a team. Instead, the work in pre-season looked minimal, with the Rossoneri looking like a team largely unchanged from last season.

This is irrespective of the efforts made so far this summer. Ultimately, the Diavolo have reset, and there is little sign of it actually doing much to better the team.
Allegri departs
So, this morning, Allegri headed to Casa Milan to speak to the management about the final stages of the mercato. After all, there is a need for further reinforcements at both ends of the pitch.
Daniele Longo reported that the head coach discussed five things in detail with Igli Tare, and after around two hours of the meeting, MilanNews captured the Italian heading away, as can be seen below.

The two discussed the team’s ‘needs’ as well as what needs to happen in the final weeks of the mercato. At least one forward and one defender are seemingly next on the list, after the meeting’s conclusion.

There is no rocket science here…You want to advance on top positions , then you must pay and bring a proven record top star. You pay peanuts you get monkeys. Young players need times to develop which is a plan b but for now we need to advance. Looking at currents situation the we are still in Monkey business thinking…with respect to everyone.
This defeat is on Allegri. He got wrong foemation choice. And even after he saw how the game was going he didn’t didn’t make the right substitution. Blame all you can but the blame is on him for this game. But it’s just the first game in the campaign, time for everyone to reassess and see where we should improve and which players to field and which formation will suit
Exactly. But this is Allegri. What did people expect? I predicted that Pulisic would not fit the system and would need to be benched. There is no real intricate attack that can be generated from the wings as the outside backs are already pushed up and on the sidelines. Even with Leão, one player can not breakdown a well organized block. Allegri is going to depend the midfielders to make runs into the heart of the defense to score. Play an effing 4-3-3. Always keep one outside defender back for defense (switch which one lays back).

It was not f he took our 3 worse midfielders and put them in the starting line up, it was so silly that I have a conspiracy theory that him and Tare did it in purpose to show that we still need signings, especially since that game was made for the skill set of Ricci and Jashiri holding possession.
