Massimiliano Allegri left Casa Milan late on Thursday evening after a long meeting with the AC Milan management.
As MilanNews report, Allegri met with the rest of the management just like he did one week ago, between the Hellas Verona and Juventus games. We are entering a crucial phase of the season and with the finish line in sight, planning for 2026-27 is crucial.
Milan are six points away from their seasonal goal of a Champions League spot, with four league games remaining: Sassuolo, Atalanta, Genoa and Cagliari. With 12 points available, AC Milan must earn half of those to secure a spot in next season’s Champions League.
With the rich prize money of Europe’s top club competition, the margins to invest in the squad would increase. Allegri was in the office today to meet with the directors and lay down some thoughts regarding the club’s future strategy.
The meeting at Casa Milan between Allegri and the management concluded around 19:10 CEST. The coach left the headquarters after a meeting lasting approximately three hours without making any comments.

The coach mindset is bad you don’t say all we need is 6 points otherwise that’s what you aim for he should say we need 12 points to finish 2nd. He has a young squad needs to teach them that winning is always the goal not getting 6 points from 12
You know that wasn’t a quote right?
Not today just stating something the Mr has been saying the past weeks if you are following Milan you would have understood.
He ended up asking for Gatti, Fagioli, Cambiasso and Kean/Vlahovic. Weston? Couldn’t hurt either!
Weston… LOL. All I heard early in the season when I suggested him was that he’s a crap player.
He’s not a crap player but we need to look beyond his narrow scope, there are so many better players across Europe and around the world, let’s use that.
da i ime promjenimo pa da se zovemo JUVENTUS ???
Fagioli for depth is fine. Jashari can play vice-Rabiot/vice-Modric roles; if Fagioli comes he will be the vice-regista while the swiss would shift to Rabiot understudy.
Cambiasso is class and would love him but too expensive. I don’t see it happening, even more after Juve squeezed into UCL.
After Gila we can sign whichever CB Allegri wants.
Kean and Vlahovic are our actual best bets… aside maybe Retegui.
for the rest of “potential targets” – Igor Tiago too expensive, Mateta not a target anymore, Castro too expensive, Panichelli injured. I like Mikautadze but we would never gamble on him
In the past Berlusconi would have obstructed such a meeting to tell the coach directly the right formation to use and the kind of attractive football the team must play. But today I don’t know what they discuss anymore.
Berlusconi’s vision for attractive football influenced Milan’s tactics, he often sees the game as a president, a coach, a fan, an analyst, a critique, everything. I miss that about him.
Today any coach just walks into the team and plays whatever formation he feels like.
One thing is sure, with Silvio as president, there’s no way a coach will eliminate a wingers formation knowing fully well that that’s our best department. I bet that coach is getting the sack.
