Despite reports that Massimiliano Allegri’s relationship with the management has broken down, contacts are apparently frequent.
Tuttosport (via MilanVibes) report that Allegri has already met with the CEO Giorgio Furlani three times in recent days to begin laying the foundations for Milan’s future, despite the talk that relations are bad and the Italy job is waiting for him.

Allegri wants to demonstrate with facts that he intends to continue his journey with the Rossoneri next season, especially if they qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Strategy meeting
The first meeting – also attended by Igli Tare and Zlatan Ibrahimovic – was structured to plan for next season and to define the transfer market needs above all. It served to the profiles the coach would like to coach to complete the current squad, making it competitive to win trophies.
Obviously, a possible absence from Europe’s top competition would dramatically reduce all of the club’s options, which would have to deal with a significant blow from a financial and image point of view.
Milan would suffer from a sponsorship and revenue perspective but also on the playing side, having to justify the absence from the Champions League for the second year in a row of players like Mike Maignan, Christian Pulisic and others. It would be harder to attract signings, too.
The first meetings took place at Casa Milan after the defeat against Lazio, when Allegri clearly outlined his ideas regarding the transfer market and sought to understand the management’s direction and intentions for the near future.
After the defeat against Udinese, two more meetings followed, one on Monday for dinner and the other on Tuesday afternoon at the headquarters, following the cancelled training session on Tuesday afternoon.
Here, the message the management most appreciated was that Allegri does not intend to go the national team, at least according to what he told them. It could be a game of parts, of course, or simply sincerity. The goal is a second star, as well as a strong run in Europe.

“The goal is a second star”. ? 😀 Goals if financial scudetto, anything else is extra. They don’t care about winning.
Goal is financial scudetto
Goal should be to be like Chelsea, sign random plusrs so the social media people like you get hyped and then watch as nothing ever works and post record losses
Social media people? I don’t even have social media. 🤣🤣 You’re a clown, you really don’t have to keep proving it.
Sure, that’s why they’re the biggest spenders in Serie A. Use your brain before posting.
Who is the biggest spender? You didn’t go past primary school education level. You don’t understand what income and expenditure means. Milan is not the biggest spender.
