Pervis Estupinan made a pretty big mistake just before Parma’s first goal last night, and after the game, AC Milan manager Max Allegri pointed that out.
Milan were heading for the half-time break with a two-goal lead at Ennio Tardini, having found the back of the net through Alexis Saelemaekers and Rafael Leao. However, Estupinan then made a big mistake at the back, opening up space for Adrian Bernabe to score a great goal.
That goal completely shifted the momentum, as Parma were able to head into the break with confidence and hope of completing a comeback. In his post-match interview with Sky Italia, Allegri brought up Estupinan’s mistake…
Your feelings after the game?
“Two points thrown away. I don’t know how it would have ended if we had finished the first half 2-0. We came back onto the pitch dazed, we were really asleep.
“If you go 2-0 up, you can’t concede that goal in the 48th minute, you have to kick the ball into the stands. We should have gone forward and played with more clarity.”

It was Estupinan’s mistake…
“He was returning from injury. He even saved a goal later. You can’t say it’s one player’s fault or the other.”
As a result of the left-back’s disappointing display, fans are now discussing whether Davide Bartesaghi should play from start instead. Lorenzo and Stefano took a closer look at this in the latest edition of Pub Chat, in case you want to hear more thoughts on it.

Send a better message by sending him to the bench and selling him in January. I don’t know how Milan thought Estupinan was a good signing instead of renewing Theo and keeping Jimenez. Unbelievable
Do you not remember what a “spectacular” defender Theo was? Estupinan isn’t an upgrade clearly but that also doesn’t mean keeping Theo was right.
Allegri sent jimenez out for lesser offenses because he was disruptive to the locker room.
Theo undr allegri would hVe been different
You gotta be unbelievable, dude
What he means is that, “now” is worse than before.
If it is NOT an upgrade, don’t make a change. This is what his message is about.
Dude seriously, if you’re blind then just, please, take time and read the comment 100 times til you get it
unfortunately you missed the point
It’s not Theo was hole. By November Theo had individually blown his assignments to the toon of 4 goals. Theo was statistically the worst defensive left back in the league last year
Theo was a hole*
Theo not at his best at fullback. But if he is given wing back spot. I still have 1000% confident he is muuuch better than Estupinan.
People are forgetting that Theo was on an expiring contract. Estupinan is not better, but we’re not paying him 8M (what Theo was asking to renew) per year either. Then Theo is so good that a bunch of PL clubs lined up to sign him….not. Estupinan being not good enough has nothing to do with Theo not being at Milan. There were many options to replace Theo, they just chose the wrong one. Hopefully Bartesaghi keeps developing and Estupinan simply becomes the backup. It would be nicer that way anyway as Bartesaghi is an academy product.
“eL Stupido” ankle maybe healed but his brain isn’t yet
Theo under Allegri would be a different beast. See how our backline has improved defensively.
The management were really clueless to have brought estupinan,I am always amazed how he is easily beating by any player on the wing..both Estupinan & Fofana are a real question mark.. not Milan worthy at all
He is so trashy
LIke the coach said, “kick the ball to the stands”, damnn smh
Estupinan and Fofana need to leave this team for good.
To the FAN Boys of Estupido,
Allegri is spot on, “Kick The Ball to the Stands!!”
Geeze christ
guaranteed, he is so trashy.. damn. just quit and leave. So disgrace to watch him
Agree Estu blew it. Bart blew it last week. What Allegri’s message to Salad? Mine would be shoot the damn ball
