There remains a stalemate between Massimiliano Allegri and AC Milan over the termination of his deal, preventing him from signing for Napoli.
Calciomercato.com report that Allegri is on vacation in Sardinia and is waiting for news from his lawyer(s) regarding the termination of his contract with Milan so he can start a new chapter. Napoli are in no rush, given that Aurelio De Laurentiis has several meetings this week.

Furthermore, everything is already finalised and Allegri is in constant contact with sporting director Manna regarding transfer strategies. The agreement is for a three-year contract, with the deal in writing just waiting for a signature.
Frustrations grow
The Livorno-born coach’s agent is in contact with Milan, but ‘tensions remain high over the severance package’. Exactly 30 days have passed but that has not yet been enough to reach an agreement. The parties are in constant contact and it is not expected to affect him joining Napoli.
Patience has its limits though, and De Laurentiis’s is running out. The Napoli owner doesn’t want to drag out the Allegri dispute beyond this week, so there are two possible scenarios in play at the moment.
A halfway agreement with the Rossoneri for himself and the rest of his staff must arrive within the next 48-72 hours, or resignation and then to file a lawsuit for damages with the FIGC’s guarantee body. A breakthrough is expected soon to put an end to a case that has seen temperatures rise.
Meanwhile, Claudio Filippi – the goalkeeping coach on Allegri’s staff – has terminated his contract with Milan which was set to run until 2027. He will not follow Max to Napoli though because he accepted the offer from Fabio Paratici and Fiorentina.
Another member of Allegri’s staff has reached an agreement to terminate his contract with Milan: Bernardo Corradi. The former Chievo and Lazio striker is ready to sign with Sampdoria, his first role as a first-team head coach.

Since Allegri has a deal waiting for hil at Napoli, we should not give him any compensation. The damage he cost at Milan is enough already…
We should be eager to release Allegri to Napoli. He will wreck them and potentially increase our chances for making top 4 (although I don’t think we will one way or another). KDB and other players were complaining about Conte’s football last season, Allegri is worse. He can be our Trojan Horse.
I don’t understand this problem. Isn’t a severance package, if there is one written in the contract?
