The AC Milan leadership appear to be listening to what Massimiliano Allegri wants, leading them to Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa.
The love affair between Milan and Anguissa is one that stretches back over half a decade, to when the midfielder was plying his trade with Fulham in the Premier League. Since then he has won two Scudetti with Napoli, establishing himself at times as one of the best in his role in Serie A.

Now, though, a crossroads is approaching for the Cameroon international. He is expected to leave Napoli despite Antonio Conte’s esteem, and in recent days the 30-year-old has been linked with a move to the Rossoneri again, where he would find another big admirer in Allegri.
Antonio Vitiello spoke to MilanVibes to offer the information he has on the Anguissa situation, including a response to the notion that he is a player the coach has explicitly asked for.
“Mr. Allegri definitely likes Zambo Anguissa. The Milan coach has drawn up a list of characteristics and players he likes,” he said.
“In midfield, he’s looking for players who are physically fit, tall, well-built, and capable of making runs. He’s someone who’s scored several goals in recent years at Napoli, a key player in midfield, and he’d be the perfect fit.
“What we’re seeing is that AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has a very high level of approval for Zambo Anguissa. There are several things to consider: one is his physical condition, with a fairly serious back problem that’s still limiting him and only 17 Serie A games under his belt.
“The other situation to consider is his move to Turkey, which has the potential to command significant offers and a salary that would be higher than what might be offered elsewhere. What’s certain is that if AC Milan were to call, he’d think about it.
“In recent weeks, Allegri has made Giorgio Furlani understand the importance of following the coach’s requests, because he’s the one managing the squad and knows the characteristics the team needs. The management seems to have understood this, so they intend to accommodate him on the profiles.
“He’s asked for experienced, international-calibre players, as demonstrated by Goretzka and Anguissa. Then, alongside the experienced players, they need young players, so I expect this mix in the transfer market, but I want to see it on paper.”

He would be perfect.
Who stole MH’s nick?!!! This guy hates every transfer – whether it’s inbound or outbound – and would NEVER type such thing.
People’s reading comprehension skills around here leave even more to be desired than their loyalty to the players they allegedly support.
Loyalty is to the club. Players come and go but the club remains.
“allegedly support.”
Funny choice of words from the guy who claims to be the Only True Fan while jumping off to support Como the second things didn’t go well. But hey, at least the other fans are pure sh1te compared to the One And Only, eh? 🙄
