It seems that Massimiliano Allegri will find a new home this week, with the former AC Milan manager heading to Napoli.
In recent weeks, there has been plenty said about the structure of Milan and Allegri has probably hoped to see it resolved sooner than it has been. Indeed, it has been almost four weeks since he was sacked and he has been in limbo since.

The Rossoneri are stuck looking for new candidates to move into key roles, but he has been clear from the off: his next job would be in the South, with Napoli waiting for him. However, Zlatan Ibrahimovic had tried his best to block the move.
Allegri – ‘The chosen one’
Now, Fabrizio Romano reports that these attempts were not successful, with his move to Napoli never in doubt, as MilanNews relays.
“Napoli, there was never any doubt, will be Massimiliano Allegri. It’s just a matter of getting the green light from Milan. This matter is expected to be resolved next week, but there were never any doubts of this kind.
“Allegri was the chosen one, is the chosen one, and will be the chosen one to be Napoli’s next coach. Everything is ready, we’re just waiting for the official announcement. It’s a matter between the two clubs that will be resolved. There’s no doubt about that.”
Whether Aurelio De Laurentiis’ chat with Ibrahimovic helped to resolve matters is unknown. However, Allegri will now head to Naples with the structure in place to get him going straight away. A million miles away from the situation at his former club.

Thanks for nothing in the end despite the fact you had to fight against (y)our own management on a daily basis and you had the f-ing referees and their whole organisation against our club in every third (if not even in any second) match. Enormous injustice has/had been done to us, we would have easily qualified for the CL and take that spot had it not been for their decisions, your great patience and tolerance turned out to be futile eventually. Also, hands off Rabiot and Alexis!
The part I don’t get is, ADL saw the disaster that Milan’s season turned out to be under Max and still decided to go for him rather than Italiano?
