Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that he and the AC Milan management are in the planning phase for next season and beyond.
The past few days have been dominated by media headlines suggesting that Allegri is tempted by the idea of taking the Italy job if it is offered to him, due to apparent disagreements with the Milan management over the vision and ambition for 2026-27.

However, the past 24 hours have yielded more positive updates on this front. First of all La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed that the club are planning an ambitious summer to keep him happy, while Max himself seemingly confirmed that he has no intentions of leaving just yet.
Allegri spoke to DAZN after the final whistle and he was also interviewed by Sky following what was a big three points for his team in terms of securing a top four spot. MilanNews relay one of his responses.
Are you planning for the future with the club?
“Yes, we are planning for the future and we’ve been talking for several months. We’re analysing the year with great clarity.
“The victory in Verona gives us a little more clarity to finish the season well, while still taking into account the fact that we haven’t yet reached our objective, and to reflect on what we’ve done this year.”

Alegri out
And replace him with who?
Allegri stays. But I would entertain Sarri for our bench if things got out of control this summer. He played modern progressive football and is used to getting a lot done with little at his disposal under Lotito.
Fonseca
😂😂😂😂 he is fighting to qualify for CL in France…
Absolutely keep allegri.
He’s done wonders for the defence and next season is the time to fix the attack and make a genuine title push.
