The international break is upon us, which means a large number of AC Milan’s squad have jetted off around the globe.
As we summarised last night, a total of 13 players left Milanello after the win over Torino on Saturday night because they have been called up by their respective national teams. The games range from Oslo to Orlando, with this being the final break before the summer World Cup.
A smaller group
Corriere dello Sport (via MilanPress) write this morning how there are 11 players who will not depart to go and represent their countries, which is certainly a small group to have at the training ground ahead of the big game against Napoli on Easter Monday.
Allegri will be able to work ahead of the trip to Naples with Pietro Terracciano, Matteo Pittarella, Lorenzo Torriani, Youssouf Fofana, Samuele Ricci, Niclas Fullkrug, Santiago Gimenez and Christopher Nkunku.
The Mexican will be given close attention, given his recent return from the injury that kept him out for four months, having played the last 15 minutes or so against Torino. Meanwhile Rafael Leao, Matteo Gabbia and Ruben Loftus-Cheek will continue their individual work.
Training will resume tomorrow without the following players: Koni De Winter, Alexis Saelemaekers, Luka Modric, Pervis Estupinan, David Odogu, Fikayo Tomori, Davide Bartesaghi, Mike Maignan, Adrien Rabiot, Strahinja Pavlovic, Ardon Jashari, Zachary Athekame and Christian Pulisic.
