Sky: Allegri, Tare and Furlani meet to discuss Milan’s future – the key talking points

There was an important meeting between the AC Milan leadership regarding planning for the future, it is claimed.

Milan immediately returned to winning ways on Saturday night at San Siro, beating Torino 3-2. It is a victory that allows Massimiliano Allegri and the entire team to head into the break with serenity and confidence ahead of the final stretch of the season, with the international break now here.

Important developments

Sky reporter Peppe Di Stefano (via MilanNews) has provided some off-field news live from Casa Milan today. According to him, in recent days a meeting between the management and Massimiliano Allegri took place at the club’s Casa Milan headquarters.

The meeting – Di Stefano state –  was attended by Allegri, the CEO Giorgio Furlani and the sporting director Igli Tare. It was an initial chat to lay the groundwork for the future and the coming seasons, with a Champions League return looking more and more likely.

They discussed prospects, budgets, the coach’s transfer requests, and both young and experienced players. They will continue along the path they’ve taken in recent years: signing players with significant potential and pairing them with highly experienced veterans.

The journalist then recalled that on Friday evening – the eve of the match against Torino – Furlani and Tare visited the team in retreat and stayed for dinner with the group.

  1. Speculation…. Nobody knows what this management’s actual plan is and that’s a problem. Allegri would ask for an espresso and not get it if it’s outside of their financial parameters.

    1. It’s not that simple, you can bring experienced player but his outcome won’t worth a penny like Walker-Fulkrug….etc a player who is worth to consider can be young or experienced, the problem with AC Milan is they keeping stubbornesly wasting money on abroad players such Jashaari-Nkunku-Gimenez meaning 120 millions euros with poor or 0 contribution while many calciatori are available with the same amount and sometimes cheaper but the managers are enough to dumb to overlook them.
