Massimiliano Allegri has asked for a target man in the January window, and a report has claimed that Igli Tare has picked out the main name.
Monica Colombo’s article in this morning’s edition of Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) picks out at least one player who could be a good fit for each team to boost their Scudetto hopes in the second half of the season.
Milan were also mentioned, and she writes that the priority for the management should be to sign a centre-forward, although this is contingent on Santiago Gimenez’s possible departure this winter which his agent denied.
Pellegrino: the right fit?
Massimiliano Allegri – after having encountered the difficulties of Gimenez and Christopher Nkunku and having relaunched Rafael Leao in a new role – is waiting for a true centre-forward.

Ok but i’m a bit sceptical- who ever they sign, this winter or in summer is going to be a bench player. Cause Leao and Pulisic wont be droped. Only if Allegri wont opt for a 3412 with Pulisic as a false 9 behind two strikers but then one midfielder is going to get dropped and we have one too many(Ricci, Fofana, Jashari, Modric, Ruben, Rabiot)
midfield to attack ratio is fine, as you said we need someone to be like Chicharito for Man Untd… not play the most but still score.
it depends on just what Allegri wants, classical finisher/with good aerial capabilities like Giroud would be exactly what we are missing
Lucumi and T.Silva with an additional RB/RM would be a bigger W in January. only one I would remove from this team is Odogu (loan out the kid for some time).
Athekame, RLC, Santi, Estupinan verdicts can wait until summer.
I’d rather a CB got dropped. They’re all fine but I see 3 centre backs as a luxury a lot of the time & wasting a midfield or attack slot.
This. Given the players we have, we should be in a 4-3-3. But it’s Allegri, so good luck. In any case, we’re top of the league, so these complaints will fall on deaf ears.

Stop buying premature strikers or overhyped big names. Look for a finisher who is mature, has a consistent scoring rate, provides good assists, and has experience at the highest level. I think Tim Kleindienst is the one who fits our system.
Does-Allegri-approve-the-transfer-from-a-tactical-standpoint? Get his approval first. Tare carries out Allegri’s orders, Tare does not know tactics. Furlani and Moncada are even more clueless. Good luck with making a gain on reselling Nkunku. End of story.
