An update has arrived regarding Alphadjo Cissè, and it has been confirmed that the season has come to an early end for the young midfielder.
The signing of Cissè from Hellas Verona was announced on the final day of the window. In the statement, it was confirmed that the attacking midfielder would remain at Catanzaro on loan, where he had been for the first half of the campaign.

Injury update
Unfortunately Cissè suffered an injury in his first match since his move was made official. It quickly became apparent that it might be a serious issue, and this was then confirmed by subsequent medical tests.
Cissè suffered a ruptured tendon in his right thigh and it required him to undergo surgery in Finland. The operation took place on Monday and was a complete success, as per uscatanzaro.net.
His rehabilitation will be supported and management by both Milan and the Calabrian club, with his recovery time is estimated at around four months. That means 2025-26 is over for Cissè, who will now focus on getting fit for preseason.
