‘Always been welcome’ – Romano offers update on Vlahovic-Milan situation

Dusan Vlahovic’s name has been regularly linked to AC Milan over the past few months, but whether he actually moves to Milano is another thing entirely.

Looking at Vlahovic, there are several reasons why the links to Milan are so prevalent. More than anything, Massimiliano Allegri has pleaded to bring the striker from Turin, and this was the case last summer, when he would require a big financial outlay.

Now, as we approach the end of his Juventus contract, he looks increasingly like an opportunity, which has been a bit of a buzzword for the management. As a free agent, the deal could be viewed as more viable.

Vlahovic to Milan?

However, the Rossoneri would have to beat others to his signing, with it being suggested that Barcelona are the biggest threat to Allegri’s chances of a reunion. This evening, Fabrizio Romano provided an update on the situation on his YouTube channel, via MilanNews.

“What I can tell you is that Vlahovic didn’t sign with anyone. He has many possibilities, with the renewal with Juventus, which remains a total stand-by. We’ll see then, in football, it may take a few games to change the stories, but to date, the Juventus-Vlahovic situation is in total stand-by.

“Who was looking for Vlahovic? Barcelona, but it depends on Lewandowski, and Bayern Munich, looking for a deputy to Harry Kane, because Nicolas Jackson will leave at the end of the season, but today the Bavarians are stopped by calls made around October-November.

“It is a name that must always be maintained in Milan’s evaluations, because the Milan attack will depend on many factors, so it is still early to understand if Vlahovic-Milan will be a track that will be able to warm up or not, but it is a name that has always been welcome.

“It is an obvious market opportunity not to renew with Juventus.”

  1. A few paragraphs of nothingness. Nothing seems to be the order of the day with these poor articles. Please enlighten us with real updates…

    1. I feel you, but honestly there really isn’t that much happening. So, we get news like this; recycled with a dash of something new.
I commend Oliver and the guys, really. They write what they know.
I used to read Goal.com. They do this dramatic clickbait nonsense with their headlines that vexed me to no end. Take this article for example, they’d probably head it as
“Vlahovic gives the cold shoulder to all except Milan”
You see that and you think that the situation had changed and that Vlahovic-Milan is finally underway! You click and it’s yet another puff-piece, absolutely nothing new to add.
Bro, I’d rather have these from SempreMilan, they tell it as it is, and that’s that.

  2. In the real-world Vlahovic was linked with the likes of Bayen and Barcelona. While here, even many members are againts the move LOL. Like we really have the chance in competing with those clubs.

    1. No, you completely missed the point. We do not even worry about him coming to Milan because we will not be able to pay him the salary he is asking. We beg the other clubs to come and pick him up as soon as possible so we do not need to read these B/S articles time and again. We truly want him to be signed by any club just so the writers can STFU and move on to a more realistic target. And also no, we do not compete with anybody fck all.

      1. The point still stands. Even if (somehow) we have the real chance to sign him, beyond his salary (which is an entirely different thing), many of the members here consistently stated that he wouldn’t be suited in Milan, missed many sitters, overrated, and so on.

Just like Rabiot when many stated if he’s that good, why did he end up in Marseille and all those balderdash. For me, if any experienced ‘star’ players like Dusan, Adrien, Goretzka, etc were linked with Milan, I’ll welcome them with open arms. That’s exactly the kind of players we need to level up our team. We already have enough promising talents. We need players who can quickly deliver.

    2. Honestly though, at Bayern he would be backup to Kane and at Barcelona, well they’re rather unstable at their finance. I wouldn’t want him to come either if he doesn’t decrease his salary demand
