The Algerian has really stepped up in the last few games and the goal was just further proof of that. The way he moves with the ball is very impressive and sometimes it seems impossible for the opponents to take it off him.
Speaking live on DAZN after the win last night, as cited by MilanNews, former Milan midfielder and captain Ambrosini shares his thoughts on Bennacer. He heaped praise on the former Empoli man amid the recent surge in form.
“Bennacer is a player that is revitalised in every aspect. He covers a lot of exchanges and he’s always very lucid when in possession,” he stated.
Milan will take on Bologna after the break and thanks to yesterday’s win, they are six points ahead of Inter. The gap to Napoli is still three points, though, so the Rossoneri cannot afford to relax as a lot remains.
