Gerry Cardinale’s arrival at Milanello will hopefully lead to an acceleration in AC Milan’s summer business, after a period of stagnation.
Since spending around €100m on the signings of Goncalo Ramos from PSG and Mario Gila from Lazio, things have gone very quiet. A lack of sales is believed to be blocking a desire to do further business, and with 10 days until the season opener, time is running out.

Today could be a very important day though, as Cardinale arrived at Milanello via helicopter and will have a transfer meeting with Amorim. During that summit, the duo will go over where the squad stands, and the areas to ideally intervene.
Matteo Moretto – in a video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel (via MilanNews) – spoke about some of the important moves that could occur in the coming days and weeks.
“Milan are trying to figure out how to free up space to then bring in new players, new arrivals on the market. There are several players on the way out. It’s Gerry Cardinale’s time at Milanello, there will be a summit with Amorim,” he said.
“Amorim will tell the Rossoneri owner which players have been rejected, in quotes, that are on the market: Fofana, Ricci, Estupinan, several names. Milan are working on the exits, Cardinale and Amorim face to face.”
The fact these names are out there is not a good thing.

I’ve followed Romano’s updates on the exit list and frankly, haven’t seen or heard Ricci mentioned, so, Oliver Fisher and co. enough with your Ricci hate ffs.

A meeting between Amorim and Cardinale will be something to behold: the meeting of a clueless coach, with a cluless owner. Both are utterly mediocre and unprepared for their roles.
So whatever is discussed and planned, will lead to certain failure.
