AC Milan head coach Ruben Amorim has admitted that he knew his side would struggle, and hinted decisions are coming regarding personnel.
After some encouraging signs against both Celtic and Inter in the opening two friendlies, the third game of the summer did not exactly go to plan as Chelsea ran out comfortable winners in Indonesia on Saturday afternoon.

Joao Pedro scored a goal just before and just after half-time to put Xabi Alonso’s men in command, then Moises Caicedo’s excellent volley pretty much put the game to bed after just 50 minutes of play. Milan failed to register a shot on target, which will be a bit of a worry.
Amorim’s post-match reaction
Amorim spoke to Sky after the full-time whistle to give his thoughts on a difficult afternoon in Jakarta, with his comments relayed by MilanNews.
It wasn’t a very positive evening…
“We knew we’d struggle a bit, but we want to present this kind of challenge to our players. They know how to defend as a team, play one-on-one, and press high.
“We’ll never press like this against teams like Chelsea, but we’re here to prepare to win the first competitive match of the season and give our players confidence.
“We also have a lot of young players on the team, and we’re on the right path to put the team in a position to win the first competitive match of the season.”
Was this match important for the choices you’ll make in the coming days?
“Yes, of course. We’ll make some decisions about our players. These past two weeks have been very positive, but we have a large squad. We need to choose some players, and we’ll make those decisions this week.”
The formation you initiating is good but I don t think , you can put it to work with this players and maybe the tactics You teaching them.. you need good 5 complete new players and 6 players to evacuate that team… The midfield is very poor with low thinker attackers that’s why they could penetrate, The making skills is very woefully, no strenght , coordination and a wall and Area ball across the defenders… Please that Milan defends is no aggressive and well coordinated enough but those player can learn and adapt if they are been thought well…. The problem of that team is Midfielders and fast attackers… A team should have a problem solver when it comes to equalizing but none , the team is just there , no good foot ball no creativity, no good sighter long pass from midfielders, no Runners from attackers and wing flank… The ignorance and annoyance of this team is that , they have good eye to scout young talented players but t the end they keep on monitoring till other clubs make move …. Only God can help this team back to Europe top cos all the boards there now are there to destroy the club, that club have lost so many fans round global the world because of senseless decision making and the investors ….. May God help Milan grow back … It is well …
Amorim already see that everyone cant be on the team.
After Bennacer i would personally loved to see Odogu somewhere on loan. Comotto for me is doubtful and he didn’t use Musah as right wingback- so it’s best for club and player to loan him out also.

Bondo sale.
Club probably is stuck by sales, no one left so I wouldn’t expect anyone to arrive. But if we could sell someone like Tomori and Ruben Loftus and bring central defender would be good.
Amorim will have problem if only focus on 3 4 2 1.
From Chelsea game it is obvious that without Leao attack have big problems.
He still can have a chance in Serie a.
It is because Allegri make that strong foundation of the defense.
Maignan Gabbia Tomori Pavlovic with Koni and now with Gila – it should be stronger defence.
Both Bartesaghi and Saelemaekers can play defensive.
So our problem is chance creation. Modric and yRabiot this season will need big help from bench.
I hope Amorim will manage to keep defense strong but to play football better than Allegri.
we need to sell rlc,fofana,ricci or musah,bondo,estupinian those are the certains.
we need to loan out kostic , cisse and odogu
and we need to maybe sell leao ,tomori and sign 4 or 5 players.
Keep Cisse for a/the 5th AMC, sell both Ricci and Musah, sell Gimenez as well instead of Fofana and maybe F. Terracciano. FIVE new players.
