Reports: Amorim expected to arrive in Italy in July – what his schedule will look like

Today, multiple reports suggest that Ruben Amorim will arrive in Italy ready to start with AC Milan at the beginning of July.

It has been a long few weeks without structure. Now, finally, Milan have some. They have a clear pyramid structure in place to make decisions and hopefully lead the club forward after its stagnation in recent years.

Indeed, with the new structure, the risk is high, but the rewards could be of the same level.

Amorim’s arrival plan

To get to grips with his new role, the Portuguese is expected to arrive in Italy at the start of July, as Calciomercato.com reports. This morning’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) suggests that it may be July 6 when he arrives.

Once in Italy, he will take time to accustom himself to his new surroundings. So, he will explore the city and also the facilities at Milanello and Casa Milan, then the real preparation begins.

His first day of training should be July 12, a week before the World Cup final, so he may be without a few players – especially if they make it to the final. It had previously been reported that training would restart on July 13, so not a major change for the players at all.
