Ruben Amorim has decided that AC Milan will have a joint-training session with Milan Futuro today, which will include an in-house friendly.
Milan’s first team and the Futuro side have been in training for a week now, getting into gear under their new respective manager: Amorim and Sergio Navarro. Of course, training only gets you so far; you also need to mimic what will happen in actual games.

According to Antonio Vitiello, there will be a joint-training session with the two teams today, and it will be held behind closed doors. Why behind closed doors? By all accounts, it’s because the Rossoneri will host an in-house friendly between the two teams.
It remains to be seen if it will be the first team vs. the Futuro, or if the teams will be mixed to even the scores a little. Either way, it’s become a bit of a tradition to face the Futuro side during the pre-season, and it should be a very nice experience for the Futuro players too.
In case you missed it, the dates for when the World Cup participants will return have been confirmed, with Mike Maignan and Adrien Rabiot not expected back until August 12 (for example).
