Ruben Amorim will take on more of a role as a manager at AC Milan rather than being a simple head coach, Matteo Moretto reports.
Amorim was announced as Massimiliano Allegri’s heir less than one week ago, and yet in those last few days the potential scope of his role has changed. He was expected to join with Markus Krösche as the head of football until that fell apart.

Instead, owner Gerry Cardinale has chosen to go with an internal restructuring of the management, which features the promotion of figures like Hendrik Almstadt. Ultimately, it seems as though the Portuguese coach will have plenty of say on how things are done.
‘A very significant influence’
Moretto spoke on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel about Milan’s new managerial structure and how it will impact the role of Amorim, with his comments like MilanNews.
“There will be a strong connection between ownership, management, and the coach. At the top of this pyramid will be Gerry Cardinale, AC Milan’s owner, who will make even more important decisions than in the past, so he will be the cornerstone of this project,” he said.
“Coach Ruben Amorim will also have a very significant influence on the transfer market, so he may have more power than a regular manager.
“The club will conduct its transfers following Amorim’s instructions, and there will be a strategic team to support Cardinale and Amorim, consisting of Bobby Gardiner, Hendrick Almstadt, and the RdBird team that will complete the picture.
“Massimo Calvelli will have the power to sign. Therefore, there will be no new additions to the Rossoneri organisation.”

Basically it will be another banker at the top, but this time it is an American one. Furlani at least knew the rules of football. It doesn’t look promising at all.
Look, It is bad, but lets give it time. We have to hope for the best. There is a small chance it might click. I am coping a bit cuz all this negativity is too much. Lets see the players that will be brought in and the matches played. They will be the outcome of this chaos.
Thank You!
No matter what news it is all negative. Even if wrong it does not help Milan
Yes, maybe we should start lying about insider info we have and then write comments based on this lie? Oh no, you are already doing this. I forgot
Forza milan! Believe me or not ,the Rate of our Negativity will not change anything. Let see how our Preseason and transfers market goes. Note:You cannot build a house, company and also be successful in a day, week, months. It takes shape gradually. Christian Chivu is not a Special coach, its atmosphere, players of Inzaghi or teams of consistently ( 3 years together players,he met and managed) ALL fingers crossed. I believe Amorin, will succeed this season
You being positive or negative about it won’t change anything. It literally has 0 effect on anything. Same goes for any of the people commenting here. Who cares are you being positive or negative about it? No one.
Ok. I couldn’t care less about your little pep talk. Whatever, they are taking a month to hire clowns they could have hired 30 days ago. That means they were rejected by most serious people they tried to go for.
It doesn’t look promising.
100% This is a pivot to desperate measures because none of the original candidates took any of this seriously.
IN: ANTONIO SILVA, HJULMAND, LWB ?-

This is an AC Milan fan page, not your personal transfer spreadsheet. Nobody knows who half these people are, and nobody really cares until something actually happens.
These people?
Listen, revolt is a bit in his own world. But imagine if he was lying about insider info he has and then tried to push this story in the comments. He would be a complete lunatic. Like you.
See, that’s where you’re wrong. I am a lunatic (just not quite the kind you have on your mind), on the other hand, this guy is obviously on their payroll, otherwise, I don’t know what his agenda is. Either way, it’s sad and wrong to do what he does which
is basically gaslighting people when you just think about it for a second.
Serie B is written all over this “project” and this is actually the best news we could have possibly received out of this summer. The clown will surely sell, if we get relegated.
Ac Milan have big money.
Even in last bad season players like Pavlovic, Athekame, De Winter, Bartesaghi, Saelemaekers, Pulisic, Gabbia, and Maignan have bigger value than before.
I am guessing (that) Rabiot’s value increased as well.
Get rid of the parasites like mexican Gimenez, Loftus Chick, Tomori, Estupinian.
Get rid of the crybabies like Maignan and Leao.
We cannot get rid of any players without Demand or offers. Let training starts, preseason starts, everybody fight for Jersey, those coach did not want or like will be exposed. I wished everyone pleasant day and wish Ac milan a Great season ahead.
No he won’t
2 years ago:
We don’t want Conte because we’re not looking for a manager. We need a coach.
Que two disastrous seasons at Milan.
Today:
Coach Ruben Amorim will also have a very significant influence on the transfer market, so he may have more power than a regular manager.
Amorim had tons of authority at Man Utd. and the results were a disaster.
