Talks between AC Milan’s new Head of Football and head coach have already taken place, it appears, and the duo may already have a plan to work together.
A lot has been said about the future of Milan’s structure, with appointments getting closer today. Indeed, Ruben Amorim has had the ‘here we go’ confirmation, but that has not been it, with Markus Krösche and Timmo Hardung both getting closer.

Whilst it seems neither deal is done for the Eintracht Frankfurt duo, they seem to be getting closer and all that needs to be agreed is compensation to free them from their contracts.
That appears to be easier said than done, though.
Amorim’s power and early contact
This afternoon, Matteo Moretto gave an update on the situation and how contact had even taken place between Amorim and Krösche, as MilanNews relays.
“There can’t be a coach without a head of football. And I confirm that AC Milan is also close to finalising the deal with Markus Krosche, who will bring in a sporting director. Krosche has already given the OK to Amorim, who will have much more power than a normal coach.
“I’m not saying he’ll be a manager-coach because he’ll still have Krosche and the sporting director at his side, but he’ll be a figure with more power.”
It is worth noting that MilanNews have also reported that Krösche opted to hire Amorim over Oliver Glasner, whom he has worked with before. So, it is clear that he believes in the Portuguese’s ability to lead the project.

I’ve heard Milan will be shut down because they didn’t pick the only person that could save Milan. 😂😂
So… We have the OK from Eintracht Frankfurt’s directors? 🤦♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣
Did they call Marotta and ask if he approves Amorim as well for us?
