Romano: Amorim has outlined plan for Milan squad ahead of first introductions – the situation

Ruben Amorim will not make any moves until he has assessed the squad personally. However, he has a few ideas for the AC Milan team.

It would be impossible to really make a plan for the Milan team moving forward, currently. After all, it was a team of two halves last season: amazing for the first half and the less said about the second half, the better.

Indeed, some performed consistently throughout the season and this has them looking at next season favourably. However, Amorim will not jump the gun and wants to build a complete squad using his own assessments.

Amorim’s plan for Milan’s summer

Nevertheless, there are a few inklings about his targets for the mercato. Links to two Sporting talents – Morten Hjulmand and Francisco Trincao – are present and others may join the wishlist shortly. Speaking to DAZN, as MilanVibes relays, Fabrizio Romano looked at the Portuguese’s plan for the upcoming summer.

“Amorim has already begun to give his indications on the transfer market: the initial ideas concern the players who are already in the squad.

“He has already made it clear that he absolutely wants to keep some players like Maignan and Rabiot, while players like Musah, who has returned from his loan at Atalanta and whom he wants to test in training camp because he likes their potential and characteristics.

“Jashari could become important players for Amorim, who will name the striker and probably also a midfielder. We know he likes the well-known Morten Hjulmand, but the price to bring him to Milan remains very high, so it’s difficult to think of a deal at the moment.”

        1. Saelemakers is the player who works hardest on the field. Perhaps you prefer those players who just pass the ball to the nearest man.

  1. SELL ESTUPINAN, FOFANA, LOFTUS-CHEEK, LEAO AND GIMENEZ AND SIMPLY FOLLOW THE STEPS;

    STEP 1:
Antonio Silva – pure addition because we lack CBs

    STEP 2:
Estupinan – Hernandez (for the sake of argument)

    STEP 3:
    Modric – Hjulmand (we’ve reached a consensus)

    STEP: 4
    Kang-in Lee/Trincao – P.A. because we lack AMCs

    STEP 5:
    Leao – Ramos/Vlahovic/Retegui (maybe Mateta ?)

    STEP 6:
Gimenez – Icardi/Lukaku (maybe Sorloth, WDYT?)

    STEP 7:
RLC – Zaniolo (or Samu if we choose to use 3-4-3)

    STEP 8:
    Fullkrug – Camarda

STEP 9 (MORE OF AN INERTIAL MOVEMENT, STS):
    Fofana – Ricci/Ardon (their status’d be upgraded)
SR/AJ – Musah/Bondo (the same thing as above!)

    STEP 10:
    +Comotto or Zeroli

    STEP 11:
    + AMC (for 3-4-2-1) or a LW (or (a) RW) (for a 3-4-3)

-27 PLAYERS READY TO CONQUER & RULE ITALY-

    1. SELL ESTUPINAN, JASHARI, TOMORI, DE WINTER, LOFTUS-CHEEK, LEAO
      AND GIMENEZ AND SIMPLY FOLLOW THE STEPS;

      STEP 1:
Antonio Silva and Lucas Vuskovic – pure addition because we lack CBs

      STEP 2:
Estupinan – T-Hernandez (for the sake of argument)

      STEP 3:
      Modric – Hjulmand (we’ve reached a consensus)

      STEP: 4
Brahim Diaz/ Pedro Gonclaves/Trincao – P.A. because we lack AMCs

      STEP 5:
      Leao – Ramos/ Asllani/Retegui

      STEP 6:
Gimenez – Mateta (maybe Sorloth, WDYT?)

      STEP 7:
RLC – Nusa (or Samu if we choose to use 3-4-3)

      STEP 8:
      Fullkrug – Andrej Kostic

STEP 9 (MORE OF AN INERTIAL MOVEMENT, STS):
      Fofana – Ricci/Ardon (their status’d be upgraded)
SR/AJ – Musah/Bondo (the same thing as above!)

      STEP 10:
      +Comotto Zeroli Carmada playing time

      1. Asllani?! Luka Vuskovic, not Lucas. Nusa is a winger, not an attacking midfielder. It’s either 3-4-2-1 and a #10 that must be b(r)ought or 3-4-3 and a winger, preferably a left one. 1 more thing, it’s CaMARda.

      2. Thanks for the response/feedback, I appreciate it.
P.S. Don’t think it is possible to get both A. Silva & Vuskovic, buying Vuskovic alone would (or will) be almost undoable…

  3. All I want is Amorim to give us is best nd should be given upper hand when it’s come to making players decisions about who he wants or not
