Adrien Rabiot was one of the most important players for AC Milan last season and the hope is that this will be the case again next season.

When Milan signed Rabiot, the expectation was for him to be good. He was working under Massimiliano Allegri again and the Italian had personally campaigned for his arrival. Everything pointed to the deal being a success.

However, it went beyond that, with the Frenchman proving to be pivotal for their season. As a result, there is talk about his future this summer

Rabiot’s future

As Calciomercato.com reports, there have been several rumours about his future in recent weeks. Especially after the confirmation of Allegri’s move to Napoli. As you’d expect, he would happily have him back with the Neapolitan club next season.

However, Ruben Amorim plans to keep the midfielder as a ‘centre-piece’ to the point where he has ‘reiterated’ his desire to the club to keep him and relaunch him as another key piece in the team, despite the rumours of an exit.

The Portuguese has even contacted the midfielder to state as much to him and Rabiot has a choice to make: to continue with the AC Milan project or explore a new destination, potentially with an old love in Allegri.

However, Napoli’s movement for a deal now seems difficult… for now.

    1. No offence, just an honest question:
Doesn’t it get boring posting the same things over and over again under each article?
