This morning, AC Milan have a new target for the mercato, after the deal for Mario Gila was finalised in the latter stages of yesterday.
It seemed like it would be a case of when for Gila, and when was yesterday afternoon. Indeed, Fabrizio Romano confirmed he would arrive in the latter parts of Tuesday and many would expect things to slow a little now.

However, that is not the plan. Instead, the Portuguese coach is now looking for the next improvements for the squad.
Amorim advances to next target
As Romano reports this morning, via Francesco Nasato on X, he wants to sign a new player to sit behind Goncalo Ramos and roam in the attacking third.
“Rúben Amorim has already asked for a new winger/attacking midfielder, a player who can roam behind Gonçalo Ramos.”
Considering the centre-back and striker were the two biggest priorities, Amorim now has some freedom to consider all of the different options. However, it seems that his biggest priority is now signing another attacker.
After the meeting at Milanello with Gerry Cardinale, who knows how quickly things can accelerate.

Milan, next up: the Rossoneri are now looking for an attacking midfielder, a left-back, and another defender
AC Milan’s transfer market won’t stop with Gonçalo Ramos and Mario Gila. The Rossoneri are already working on other reinforcements.
AC Milan and Ruben Amorim’s top priorities were a top-notch center forward and a central defender, positions that were filled with the arrivals of Gonçalo Ramos from PSG (already official) and Mario Gila from Lazio (deal closed yesterday). But the Rossoneri have no intention of stopping there; in fact, they already have a clear idea of what other reinforcements are needed: the Rossoneri are looking for an attacking midfielder, a powerful winger (wing-back), and another defender.
ALAJBEGOVIC/KARETSAS, RAUM, TIAGO GABRIEL
AND THEN
STARTING MC ???, ZANIOLO/DIAZ (BACKUP AMRC)
AND THEN
BACKUP STRIKER ???, BACKUP (D)MC ???
At least this season, Amorim cant say he didnt get the players he asked for. (Like previous coaches). Also, this window, we are moving fast. No telenovela and drama each signing and dragging our feet. Basically, no excuses.
It depends on how much players Milan will/would sign, Ramos and Gila are not enough because we need four more players, DC, LWB, MC and AMRC.
I want only Karetsas for that role. Nobody else should be considered when you have a chance to sing a generational talent like him.
Can Uzun is a better option and more experienced at 20yrs. Though Milan should still sign Karetsas but we can’t put too much pressure on an 18yr old.
qqq karetsas is the worst one he is another suso one dimension and slow we don’t need him alajbegovic is the one we need
At 18Y he is to expensive. We need someone much more ready and able to handle pressure.
Wilson Isidor de Sunderland
Konstantino Karestas is an promising talent with the right profile for the attacking midfield role to the right, but last couple of years acquisitions from the Jupiler league has made me wary…
If we buy someone like that for the future, we need a more experienced profile for the same position.
Trincao seemed like the perfect fit, but if hes leaving for Saudi, Zaniolo feels like an obvious choice? Right profile, proven in serie A, and relatively cheap.
Havent heard much noise about him to, so I guess hes not on the radar.
Raspadori could be an option, along with Samuele Ignacio. But I definitely agree with Zaniolo. You could be on to something, as there was no regarding Ramos until the last minute. With his medical being done weeks prior, it could be a similar story with Zaniolo?!
Brahim Diaz! Already played for us, has become a great player. Bring him back.
Zaniolo, Hauge
