Ruben Amorim has been at the helm of AC Milan, officially, for a week now and the Portuguese coach is clear on his demands this summer.
Earlier today, it was reported that Gerry Cardinale had called the stars to state their importance to the project. Indeed, he is very clear that he wants to raise the base level of the team whilst protecting key players.

This also means that he wants to raise the bar in the mercato and Amorim has a clear starting demand for the American.
Amorim has one demand
According to La Repubblica, via MilanNews, the Portuguese is desperate for a striker to join this summer. It was previously reported that he wants a striker like Viktor Gyokeres, and there have been plenty of reports since about Goncalo Ramos.
Indeed, if there is to be a new signing this summer, it seems increasingly likely that it will be his compatriot for PSG, who is looking for a new chapter.
Considering Amorim will have a ‘manager-like’ say in the mercato with the new structure, this demand will likely be acted upon. Of course, given the recent history of investments into strikers, too, Cardinale would give the new structure a major victory with a big striker.

Who is this guy at Milan? I think Ricci is the closest but he might drop Musah here as he is physically much stronger .

If you want a good striker…You have to pay up. Or find an older striker who wants to live in Milan. The idea of spending 25-30M will just bring us the same below average performers that have rolled through since Giroud left. Will Cardinale pay 60-70 MM? I doubt it. But that is the going rate for quality strikers. The idea of getting rid of Giminez and Nnkunku and replacing them with two 30MM strikers gets Milan no where.
