Following the pre-season commitments in Australia and Indonesia, the AC Milan players will now enjoy a few days off before getting back on the horse later this week.

Milan have played three out of their four pre-season friendlies, drawing two and losing one, and the start of the season is getting closer. Manchester United are the final opponents and since that game will be played in Poland, the Rossoneri will now start their final preparations at Milanello.

Indeed, after an adventure in Perth and Jakarta, Ruben Amorim and his men will return to their home base. According to MilanNews, they won’t get back to work immediately though, as the gaffer has given his players Monday and Tuesday off.

They are flying back from Indonesia to Milan today, so it makes sense to give them some rest considering the long travel time. On Wednesday, however, they will resume at the highest pace to prepare for the game against the Red Devils.

Seeing as they are yet to win a game under Amorim’s guidance, clinching one in the final friendly could be crucial to boost their confidence ahead of the season opener. Speaking of that game, it will be against Torino away from home, which is by no means an easy task.

  1. Winning against man united isn’t crucial at all. Playing well would be good to see but STFU with this crucial preseason game nonsense
