One of the youngsters that AC Milan have been linked with recently is Angelo Gabriel. Having just turned 18, the Santos winger is eyeing a move to Europe and his agent has now shed some more light on the matter.
Despite his young age, Gabriel has already made an impressive 97 appearances for the first team of Santos. Several teams are interested in his services, including Milan, but the economic demands of the Brazilian side could make it difficult.
Speaking to TuttoMercatoWeb, Gabriel’s agent Marisa Alija spoke about the winger’s future and addressed the recent interest from Europe. She stated that a move is only a matter of time for the 18-year-old.
All these qualities have unsurprisingly attracted the interest of various European clubs, including Milan and Napoli…
“Angelo is a footballer that all the top clubs know. It’s only natural that his name is being mentioned, we have been sending material and holding meetings since he was very young. Even in Italy obviously (smiles).”
Does that mean we will soon see him in Europe?
“It’s only a matter of time, especially now that he’s turned 18,” she concluded.
It remains to be seen where Gabriel will end up but it’s clear that Milan are keeping tabs on the situation. For now, though, they also have other priorities such as the renewal of Rafael Leao that must be dealt with.
nah
non-eu spot taken already
Milan must get this player. Angelo Gabriel have great future.
If he has been followed by Moncada for a while and he likes him, sign him early before his price tag balloons, and he becomes tok expensive for Milan.
15-20 million is nothing in todays market .
Better than CDK!!!
Agree
Worth the gamble
Need RT winger ASAP
I like messias but hes never going to improve and seems to get injuries too much. He’d be a great replacement. Even if we sell him to a premiership side in a few years. Easily make our money back. Or replacement for rebic. Usually when a promising brazilian moves to europe they get a call for their national side too. Watching videos of him shows he has the skill to play in serie a.
