Another missed opportunity for Conti; loan move in January?

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan failed to beat Lecce at the San Siro on Sunday evening, as the away side conceded late into injury time. For Andrea Conti, it was not only a disappointing performance, but also a missed opportunity.

The right-back stepped in to replace Davide Calabria, who was a serving a one-game after getting sent off against Genoa. However, the former Atalanta man failed to make the most out of the opportunity, failing to impress the new manager Stefano Pioli.

In addition to making little impact in the attacking phase, he also caused the penalty which led to the first equaliser. Of course, this only made matters worse, as it was such an obvious error.

As a result of this, Conti might leave the Rossoneri in January. In the summer, Milan director Paolo Maldini wanted to send the full-back out on loan, per Calciomercato.com, and the move could perhaps become an idea once again.
