Luca Antonelli talked to Sky Italia after the Rossoneri’s disappointing 0-2 defeat to Juventus at San Siro on Saturday evening. Here’s what he had to say.
“We had a good start, we had a chance to score. Higuain created two goals, after that it’s always hard to recover against Juventus.”
On what’s to come: “We know that we have to bounce back with a win as a direct confrontation. On Thursday, a difficult trip to Athens awaits, where we want to secure qualifications to the playoffs or close in on the playoffs. Then there is the trip to Sassuolo, a difficult game. Three points are absolutely vital in both of these games.”
On what to improve: “We have to do everything extra good, we have to get out of this situation. These standings we’re in is not where we expected to be.”
Milan’s next game is on Thursday, away at Athens in the rematch against AEK Athens.
