Arsenal striker states he ‘will certainly never go on loan again’ amid Milan links

AC Milan remain interested in signing Folarin Balogun from Arsenal and the striker has made a declaration about his future.

According to Calciomercato.com, Balogun’s future is yet to be written after his return to Arsenal after loan spell at Stade de Reims in which he scored 22 goals across Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France.

However, there is one certainty when it comes to the USA international: he will no longer accept going out on on loan. The centre-forward spoke after the United States’ victory in the CONCACAF Nations League against Canada down.

“What I can say is that I will certainly never go on loan again. I’m not sure what discussions will take place, not even what will happen. Today I just want to enjoy the moment with my team and family,” he said.

La Gazzetta dello Sport recently published a report stating that Balogun is a name on Milan’s list of striker targets, though his valuation is already around the €40m mark.

He had a great season in 2022-23 which has boosted his price, but the Gunners are well stocked in that department.
