Arsenal midfielder takes a swipe at Spurs ahead of Champions League clash: “Forza Milan!”

By Oliver Fisher -

Arsenal midfielder Jorginho made it clear who he will be supporting when AC Milan face off against their north London rivals Spurs in the Champions League last 16 second leg next month.

The first leg ended 1-0 to Milan with Brahim Diaz getting the only goal early on in front of a sold out San Siro, with the return fixture set for March 8 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with the tie very finely posted.

Jorginho moved to Arsenal in the January transfer window from Chelsea, and he was asked about the rivalry between them and Spurs during a segment he did on DAZN, making it clear who he wants to make the quarter-finals next month.

“Forza Milan! The matches with Tottenham are those Arsenal fans look forward to the most. I am sure they will all support Milan,” he said.

As mentioned, the Italy international got a move away from Stamford Bridge in the most recent transfer window but he has been extensively linked with a transfer to Milan since his decision to leave Italy.
