Christian Pulisic’s situation with AC Milan should be pretty safe, but it appears that there is a chance that things could go south.
In the past few months, it has seemed increasingly likely that Pulisic will renew with Milan. He is happy at the club, and more than anything, an agreement has been found in principle; all that needs to be done is the finalisation of said agreement.
However, it has not arrived yet, and this has reportedly left the American feeling confused about his situation.
The Pulisic renewal situation
As Tuttomercatoweb.com reports, the former Chelsea attacker expected the officialities of a new deal already.
Instead, he has been left waiting for confirmation, which has not yet arrived, and whilst it has not changed his opinion yet, he wants clarity soon, with it being stated that he has been left ‘disconcerted’ by the situation.
The Rossoneri are at work, though, and they do plan to offer him a new deal shortly, especially now that the future of Mike Maignan has been secured. Saying that, things could become difficult if nothing arrives shortly.
Arsenal and Liverpool, as the report suggests, are both interested in the American and with just longer than 12 months on his deal, the summer could be an opportunity, if nothing has been agreed.
He’s injury prone. We got one good season out of him. We should sell before his value decreases further.

What an incredibly dumb comment. He’s been the team’s best, most consistent player since he’s been here. Nobody has more goals and assists in the last 3 seasons.
But honestly he probably should leave if Allegri stays. Attacking is an afterthought under Allegri and all he cares about is size and speed.

He has been good for two season and leads the team in goals during his injury prone third season 🤣 Plus his injury situation is similar to Leão’s so is Leão injury prone and on a higher salary than Pulisic? This is the first season Leao has had persistent injury problems. Pulisic has a long history of issues.
He’s going to leave as he will be the third choice behind Leão and Nkunko for one spot. Allegri can use the money from the sale to buy more defensive players .
it amazes me how stupid some of the people commenting are. He has the most goals and assists and he has been consistent the past 3 seasons. He got hurt and has been playing on an injury. He has saved us in countless games scoring game winning goals in every season and this one. Have we forgotten Inter this season? Have we already forgotten Torino? If he is not our best player he is certainly one of the best players on our team. Stupidity.
There is no allegiance in soccer. If Milan thinks they can benefit from selling him, they will. On the other
hand, if Pulisic can benefit by leaving Milan, he would be stupid not to leave. Alot to consider by Milan and Pulisic. He is certainly in demand, Liverpool, Arsnel, Tottenham, just to name a few. They wouldn’t waste their time if they didn’t think he is a special player. USA mens team coach Pochettino thinks he is one of the best offensive players in the world football. He said so! It may come down to whether Milan sticks with a front two or a front three.
I’m going to defend Pulisic a bit on the issue of being mercenary. He’s already won the CL. I sure he would value winning the scudetto or any league. I think the issue is if he is valued by the manager and plays football that suits him. He went thru these managerial changes at CFC and wasn’t valued by either Tuchel or Potter. Tuchel played Werner over him and bought the washed up Sterling. LOL. ACM has gone thru managers and I believe with Allegri they hired one that doesn’t value Pulisic. It’s just sport. That’s why he’ll leave.
I don’t know what to tell people who don’t appreciate what Pulisic brings to the table. If you don’t value him, you have a bias or a lack of football IQ.
Also consider who we replace him with. His output for the price is EXCELLENT. Milan have a salary cap that make it very hard for us to get GUARANTEED goal output. Pulisic is just about as close to GUARANTEED goal output we will have with this crippling salary ceiling our terrible ownership has imposed on us.
You can see both sides on this one. He needs to work through injury issues before Milan will commit to an exorbitant contract. That alone may explain the waiting. Yet he has been the most crucial player in the last couple of years, with an amazing sense of how to change the flow of a game. Ignorant haters gonna hate, but he’s been a great contributor.
On the other hand, the Prem fans would eat him alive. Culturally, can’t see him playing for entitled fans like Man U.
