Yesterday, AC Milan fans woke to the news of Franco Baresi’s mural being vandalised and now the artist has had his say on the matter.
Losing someone like Baresi takes time to heal from and it can be questioned if you ever truly ‘get over’ a loss like that. The former defender was a legend for his work on the pitch, but even without it, he’d be considered one for what he did away from the field.

Baresi dedicated his retirement to helping Milan, its fans, the city and its charities. It was a further testament to the man who he was and that only made him more special. Of course, it’s also what made his passing so much harder.
Baresi mural artist speaks out
Speaking to TMW, Lucas – the artist who created the mural itself – expressed his sadness about the vandalism of his work (and more importantly, who and what it stood for) and MilanNews have relayed his vow to redo it.
“In the near future, I don’t know when yet, there will be a chance I’ll redo the work and restore honour to Franco Baresi.

“If the person responsible for the defacement wants to lend me a hand, I’m happy to welcome him and help us attack the work together. We can always repent of our mistakes, and perhaps, if he’s willing and willing, rather than condemn him, we could forgive him for his mistake, asking him to help me restore the work and the initiative.”

That c*nt would be crucified (or even worse) on the spot, there’s no way in hell he will come forward by his own volition, he is not going to confess and own up to his transgression.
I was imagining it must be a big mural on the side of a building. That just looks like a sticker on the wall.
