AS: Brahim Diaz to leave Milan as Real Madrid make their decision

Brahim Diaz is set to leave AC Milan at the end of the season as his two-year loan will expire. The Rossoneri have made it clear that they want to keep him, but Real Madrid have other ideas.

Diaz has seven goals and six assists this season but his performance have been rather inconsistent. In any case, Milan were set to sit down with Real Madrid and discuss a permanent transfer at the end of the season.

This meeting might not happen, as reported by Spanish outlet AS, as Real Madrid have decided that Diaz will be the replacement for the exit-bound Marco Asensio. The Bernabeu side consider the 23-year-old ready and as a ‘new signing’.

Milan have already lined up Daichi Kamada on a free transfer (read more here) and he could perhaps be the replacement for Diaz. With the money saved, the Rossoneri could perhaps sign a new right-winger.
