AC Milan and Juventus are interested in signing Vasco Walz from Borussia Dortmund but face competition from Spain, a report claims.
According to AS, Atlético Madrid are after now after Vasco Walz too, a highly-rated talent from the Borussia Dortmund academy who is only 17 years old. The LaLiga giants are watching the development of the teenager closely after a season in which BVB won the U19 Bundesliga.
His contract with Dortmund ends next summer, which makes him a great market opportunity for interested teams. Walz has Italian origins as his father Antonio came to Germany for work, so there is the possibility of him heading to a Serie A club with Milan and Juventus keen.
The report mentions that he is compared by some to Gattuso, because of his position and his way of playing, and a three-way auction could therefore be sparked to secure the services of Walz.
